On a tragic Labor Day in 2019, the life of 36-year-old John Thomas Call Mansell, known to his friends and family as 'J.T.', was cut short in Tuscumbia, Alabama. The Sheffield native was a father of two daughters and was remembered as a hardworking man with a big heart who never met a stranger. His sudden death on Monday, September 2, 2019, was the result of a shooting, leaving his community in shock and his loved ones grieving an immense loss.
