On May 26, 2024, in Tuscumbia, Alabama, 49-year-old John Kevin Farley was fatally shot during a dispute with his neighbor, 72-year-old Jerry Wayne Fisher. The incident occurred around 2:50 p.m. on Foster Nolan Place Road, stemming from an ongoing property disagreement between the two men. Farley was airlifted from the scene but succumbed to his injuries en route to the hospital.
