On October 3, 2019, 26-year-old Jasmine Fields was tragically killed in a domestic violence incident in Whistler, Alabama. The incident occurred around 12:19 p.m. on Bellmeade Drive, where Fields was fatally shot by her ex-boyfriend, Tyvontae Johnson, in front of her two young children, aged 7 and 5. After shooting Fields, Johnson turned the gun on himself, resulting in a murder-suicide.
