On April 24, 2020, 21-year-old Morris Leon Bledsoe Jr. was fatally shot in Gadsden, Alabama. The incident occurred in the parking lot of Summer Waters Apartments on George Wallace Drive, where Bledsoe was discovered.
Following the shooting, 23-year-old Michael Obrian Harris was arrested and charged with murder. Court records indicate that Harris was booked into the Etowah County Jail on April 25, 2020, and was held without bond due to pending drug charges from 2018.
