On May 24, 2019, 49-year-old Kelvin Bernard Bradford, affectionately known as "Big Man," was fatally shot in his Gadsden, Alabama, residence on the 400 block of Henry Street. Gadsden police responded to reports of gunfire and discovered Bradford inside the home with a gunshot wound. Despite prompt medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
