On September 5, 2020, 18-year-old Kobe Reed of Montgomery, Alabama, was shot on Harrison Road. She succumbed to her injuries two days later, on September 7. The Montgomery Police Department arrested 18-year-old Julian Zagaglia in connection with the shooting, initially charging him with attempted murder. Following Reed's death, the charges were upgraded to capital murder.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear. Reed's death marked Montgomery's 44th homicide of 2020. ...Read More
