In the early morning hours of January 8, 2012, David Lee Robinson, a 19-year-old male, was shot and killed in the 5700 block of Foote Street, NE in Washington, D.C. His life was tragically cut short, reportedly over a pair of new Nike sneakers he had owned for only 17 days.
