On November 14, 2021, authorities in East Alabama responded to a suspected murder-suicide involving Quentinna LaSha James, 47, and her husband, David James, 42. The investigation commenced when David James was discovered with a fatal, self-inflicted gunshot wound at a residence on County Road 114 in Lafayette, Alabama.
