On March 4, 2022, 36-year-old Britney McKenzie Potts was fatally shot in the parking lot of Hanil USA, an automotive manufacturing facility in Tallassee, Alabama, where she was employed. The incident occurred around 9:19 a.m., when authorities responded to reports of a shooting in progress.
