In the early morning hours of Saturday, August 3, 2024, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace in the NoMa area of Northeast Washington, D.C., leaving a scene of chaos and tragedy. When Metropolitan Police Department officers, who were near the unit block of M Street, Northeast, heard the gunshots at approximately 1:06 a.m., they rushed to the location. There they discovered a grim scene with four individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.
