Ricky Simmons, a 42-year-old man from Tuskegee, Alabama, was shot and killed on March 15, 2022, in what authorities later classified as a homicide. The shooting occurred late in the evening, with reports of gunfire coming from a residential area in the town. When law enforcement responded to the scene, they discovered Simmons lying outside his vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite attempts to revive him, he was declared dead at the scene.
