On a late spring evening in Montgomery, Alabama, the life of 15-year-old Kameron Pettiway, a Black male, was tragically cut short. On Sunday, May 29, 2022, in the area of North Pass Road and Eastern Boulevard, a shooting occurred that would end the young man's life. First responders arrived at the scene to find Kameron with a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to a local hospital, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
