On June 12, 2022, 21-year-old Jalen Ja’Quan Xandarrius Harris was fatally shot at Galloway Park in Brundidge, Alabama. A native of Clio, Alabama, Jalen had graduated from Barbour County High School in 2019 and subsequently served in the United States Army. At the time of his death, he was employed at the Walmart distribution center in Brundidge.
