On the night of September 26, 2022, 18-year-old Jordon Xavier Marek of Elba, Alabama, was fatally shot. Elba Police responded to a call about a vehicle crashing into a structure near the 1000 block of Sunset Boulevard. Upon arrival, they discovered Marek had suffered a gunshot wound. He was transported to Enterprise Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
