On February 24, 2023, in Aliceville, Alabama, 63-year-old Willie Lindsey Jr. was found deceased in his residence on County Road 87, having suffered fatal gunshot wounds. Responding to reports of gunfire, deputies from the Pickens County Sheriff's Office, along with officers from the Aliceville and Carrollton police departments, discovered Mr. Lindsey's body inside his home.
