In the summer of 2014, a quiet street in Northeast Washington, D.C. became the scene of a tragedy that remains shrouded in mystery. Barbara Jean Moore, a 64-year-old Black woman, was found lifeless in her home on the 4100 block of Gault Place NE on the evening of Friday, June 27th. The discovery was made at approximately 8:35 p.m., when police responded to a call and found her unconscious and unresponsive.
