On November 26, 2023, at approximately 6:15 p.m., 30-year-old Dimetri Leon Phillips was found deceased in his vehicle at the intersection of Highway 78 and North Main Street in Graysville, Alabama. Phillips, a resident of Cordova, had been fatally shot while stopped at a stop sign. The Graysville Police Department responded to the scene and initiated a homicide investigation.
