Trevoncia Simmons was 26, a Black/African American male from Montgomery, Alabama, and the last hours of his life unfolded in the early darkness of Easter Sunday. Just after midnight on March 31, 2024, Montgomery Police and Fire Medics were called to the 3400 block of McGehee Road, near the old Montgomery Mall, after reports that someone had been shot.
