On April 9, 2024, in Pell City, Alabama, 45-year-old Jason Orr was fatally shot in his residence on Florida Road. The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office responded to a theft report at approximately 6:43 p.m. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Orr with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported to St. Vincent's St. Clair Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
