On April 27, 2024, 33-year-old Donta Evans of Galveston, Texas, was fatally shot during a drug transaction in Prichard, Alabama. Authorities discovered Evans deceased inside a gray Ford Edge on Telegraph Road, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Investigations revealed that Evans had traveled to the area for a drug deal, which culminated in his death.
