In the early hours of a Monday morning, on May 4, 2015, the life of 33-year-old Michael Anthony Marshall, Jr. was cut short by violence in Washington, D.C. The incident occurred at approximately 12:22 a.m. in the 300 block of Ridge Road, SE. Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department were drawn to the area after the sound of gunshots was detected.
