In the late spring of 2024, the life of a young girl from Montgomery, Alabama, was tragically cut short by an act of violence. Twelve-year-old Indyah Knight, a Black female, was shot in the early morning hours of May 31, 2024. The incident occurred around 2:29 a.m. in the 4100 block of Keating Drive. Emergency services responded to the scene and transported the young girl to a local hospital for immediate treatment.
