On the evening of July 24, 2024, at approximately 8:35 PM, Montgomery police responded to a shooting incident in the 200 block of Eastdale Road South, near Atlanta Highway and Eastern Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers discovered 28-year-old Kinah Anes Stokes suffering from a gunshot wound. She was promptly transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
