On September 12, 2024, in Harvest, Alabama, 28-year-old Courtney D. Jackson was fatally shot in what authorities believe was a domestic-related incident. The Madison County Sheriff's Office responded to the shooting around 6:27 p.m. in the 100 block of Silver Poplar Place. Emergency medical services transported Jackson to Huntsville Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
