On January 8, 2016, Joseph Andre Robinson, age 31, was shot and killed in the 3700 block of Hayes Street NE, Washington, D.C. The incident occurred at approximately 9:28 p.m. When Metropolitan Police Department officers arrived, they found Robinson unconscious and unresponsive, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
