Alaskan Native, Malai Larsen, age 25, Female, lived in Palmer, Alaska, in the early 1980s, part of a community shadowed by a predator who hunted women along the Knik River corridor. Public memorial and genealogy records remember her as born in 1955 and gone by the summer of 1981; one memorial page marks her as “lost to gun violence” on June 1, 1981, in Palmer, while family-history listings and film databases align on her being 25 years old that year.
