Roger H. Yaeger, a 73-year-old resident of Eagle River, Wisconsin, was reported missing in Alaska in August 2014. He had traveled to the state to observe wildlife and was last seen visiting family near Wasilla on August 8, 2014. His rental car was returned in Fairbanks by August 10, but there were no records of him departing Alaska by flight. Family members became concerned after he failed to respond to emails and contacted the Alaska State Troopers.
