On July 31, 2014, 31-year-old TaKory Lyn Stern passed away in Fairbanks, Alaska. Born on April 19, 1983, at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital to Victor and Jakki Stern, he attended local schools and later earned his GED. As a child, TaKory was active in Little League baseball, basketball, and the Boy Scouts. He was also a member of the Young Marines, proudly marching with them in the Golden Days Parade.
