In the early hours of January 11, 2021, 19-year-old Black male Malik Ulysses Kelly died in Anchorage, Alaska. At about 1:50 a.m., police were called to the 5900-block of East 6th Avenue for multiple gunshots. Officers found Malik outside with at least one gunshot wound to the upper body.
