Just after 1:30 a.m. on December 3, 2018, a mid-shift Anchorage police officer noticed a Chevrolet Suburban traveling eastbound on East 82nd Avenue without headlights and missing a front license plate. The driver parked in front of a warehouse at 1630 East 82nd Avenue and went inside. As additional officers arrived and approached, gunfire erupted from within the building.
