25-year-old Hispanic male Dvonte Castro was fatally shot early in the morning on June 9, 2021 in Anchorage, Alaska. He died from gunfire at the intersection of East 12th Avenue and Hyder Street. Around 2:37 a.m., Anchorage Police responded to reports of shots fired in that area and found him deceased. An adult female was also found injured at the scene and taken to a hospital; her condition was not released at that time.
