On November 17, 2022, at approximately 4 a.m., the Kenai Police Department received reports of gunshots near California Avenue and First Street in Kenai, Alaska. Witnesses observed a person being shot in the roadway and the suspect attempting to load the victim into a truck before fleeing the scene. Officers identified a vehicle matching the description provided, driving without lights on, and initiated a pursuit. The driver, 28-year-old Kevin Park, was apprehended after a brief chase.
