White/Caucasian female Stephanie Henson, 31, of Kenai, Alaska, died on November 17, 2022, after she was shot in the roadway near California Avenue and First Street around 4 a.m. Witnesses reported gunfire and described a truck leaving the scene without headlights. Responding officers soon spotted a vehicle matching the description and attempted a stop that turned into a short pursuit before the driver pulled over several miles away.
