On February 18, 2020, in Kenai, Alaska, 51-year-old Rita Green was fatally shot in her home. Kenai Police responded to a 911 call around 3:02 p.m. reporting a gunshot and a woman bleeding at a residence on Fourth Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found Rita Green deceased on the garage floor with an apparent gunshot wound to the head.
