On June 6, 2023, at approximately 9 p.m., Alaska State Troopers responded to reports of a shooting in Soldotna, Alaska. Upon arrival, they discovered 43-year-old Shaun Perry deceased from a gunshot wound. His body was subsequently sent to the Alaska Medical Examiner’s Office, and his next of kin were notified. The Alaska Bureau of Investigation’s Soldotna Major Crimes Unit initiated an active and ongoing investigation into the incident.
