On January 22, 2017, 49-year-old Daniel Arthur Galloway was fatally shot during a home invasion near Soldotna, Alaska. Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a home invasion and shooting just before 9 p.m. that evening. Upon arrival, they found Galloway with life-threatening injuries; he was transported to a hospital where he succumbed to his wounds. An autopsy confirmed that Galloway died as a result of gunshot wounds.
