On August 20, 2024, 44-year-old Brandon Barclay Jones was fatally shot in an early morning incident in Birmingham, Alabama. The shooting occurred around 1 a.m. in the 1200 block of Woodslee Street, an area situated between Birmingham and Center Point. Upon arrival, Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies found Jones lying on the front porch of a residence, suffering from a gunshot wound.
