On the morning of April 8, 2024, in Fairfield, Alabama, 47-year-old Roger Harris was the victim of a fatal shooting. The incident occurred at approximately 7:22 a.m. at 3620 Avenue C, the location of his workplace, Fire Rock Products.

Responding to a report of a shooting, deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office discovered Mr. Harris unresponsive on the ground, having sustained gunshot wounds. He was transported by Fairfield Fire and Rescue to UAB Hospital, where he was ultimat ...
