On August 14, 2024, at approximately 6:19 a.m., 34-year-old Miguel De Jesus Ramirez was found deceased in the front yard of a residence located at 1641 1st Street Northeast in Center Point, Alabama. Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of a person shot and discovered Ramirez suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Despite immediate CPR efforts by deputies and the subsequent arrival of Center Point Fire & Rescue, Ramirez was pronounced dead at the scene.
