On Saturday, June 1, 2019, at approximately 2:19 a.m., the 39-year-old man was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the 5300 block of E Street in the Southeast quadrant of the city. Emergency personnel who arrived at the scene were unable to save him, and he was pronounced dead. The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating his death as a homicide.
