On November 18, 2023, 22-year-old Male LaKevin Ralpheal DeBruce of Birmingham, Alabama, was tragically shot and killed in what authorities are investigating as a homicide. DeBruce, known to friends and family as a beloved young man with a promising future, was reportedly found suffering from gunshot wounds in a residential area of the city. The Birmingham Police Department responded to the scene, and DeBruce was quickly transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
