On the night of March 15, 2023, at approximately 11 p.m., 45-year-old Johnathan Christian Hamff was walking along the shoulder of Interstate 59 South near the Roebuck Parkway exit in Birmingham, Alabama. During this time, an unidentified vehicle struck Hamff and fled the scene without rendering aid or notifying authorities.
