On November 19, 2023, in Northport, Alabama, 79-year-old Donna Adams was found deceased from a gunshot wound at her residence on the 3200 block of 28th Street. Her husband, 80-year-old Gerald Adams, was present at the scene and taken into custody by responding officers.
