Mohamed Soumah, an 18-year-old recent high school graduate, tragically lost his life on December 1, 2018, in Oakland, California. Soumah, who had recently graduated from Berkeley High School, was attending a party in East Oakland when the incident occurred. At approximately 10:08 PM, police received multiple alerts about a shooting at a residence on 47th Avenue.
