In the fading daylight of a spring evening in Birmingham, Alabama, a dispute escalated into a fatal encounter that claimed the life of 31-year-old DeAndre Montray Hollice. On Sunday, May 21, 2023, in the eastern part of Jefferson County, a verbal altercation tragically turned violent, ending in a shooting that resulted in Hollice's death.
