On June 16, 2023, 57-year-old Jimmy Allen Childers was fatally stabbed in Warrior, Alabama. The incident occurred around 8:47 a.m. on the 500 block of Mimosa Street, where Childers sustained multiple stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Warrior Police Department is investigating the case as a homicide.
