In a quiet home in Warrior, Alabama, an act of kindness took a tragic turn, leading to the deaths of 58-year-old Tommy Ervin Shyrie and 26-year-old Cristy Lynn Pickett. The couple had opened their doors to an acquaintance, Terrence Jermaine Holder, and his girlfriend, offering them a place to stay as they were homeless. This gesture of compassion would ultimately lead to a grim discovery on June 14, 2019.
