On May 19, 2023, at approximately 9:15 a.m., Irondale police officers conducted a welfare check at a residence in the 300 block of Meadows Drive, following a request from a concerned coworker. Upon entry, they discovered 52-year-old Jennifer Lee Salvadori and 51-year-old Billy Code Jewell deceased inside the home.
