He took great pride in his work, which focused on bringing renewable energy opportunities to low-income residents in Wards 7 and 8. His passion for clean energy extended beyond his job; he was an advocate for his fellow installers and for the expansion of solar jobs in the city. He had even testified before the D.C. City Council in support of the Clean Energy DC Act.
