In the spring of 2022, the life of 17-year-old Dijon Alexander McQueen was tragically cut short in Midfield, Alabama. On the afternoon of Wednesday, April 27, McQueen was seen running along 11th Avenue before he collapsed, having been fatally shot. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office later confirmed his identity and that his death was being investigated as a homicide. He was a young male whose life was ended by gun violence.
