On October 24, 2021, at approximately 10:00 p.m., Birmingham Police Department officers responded to a report of a shooting at the Valley Station Apartment Complex, located in the 800 block of Cable Car Court. Upon arrival, they discovered 23-year-old Romeo Leland Bryant of Pinson, Alabama, lying in the parking lot with gunshot wounds. Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene.
